  1. 8cc in a 10cc band.....at my seet spot now. lost 6.5lbs. last month!!!
  2. I am at 8cc out of a 10cc band. I got banded in December and usually get a fill once a month. After my fill, I am tight the first week, and the tightest the second week. After the second week, I start seeing some loosening with my band. The doctor told me that this was me losing weight and fat tissue around the band. Makes sense to me. I also notice every day is different.....breakfast is usually out...and bread is a no-no.
  3. You may want to try eating earlier.....I will not eat after 7pm because of this. I wake up at night coughing and reflux as well if I eat too late.
  4. You may be banded too tight. I am 7.5cc out of a 10cc band and I cannot eat anything after about 7pm or I will be up all night coughing and heartburn.
  5. I just received my fourth fill last week and now have some serious restriction (7.5cc out of 10cc). I can drink liquids slowly and eat a small meal......just have to be slow and have tiny bites. Just recently, I have experienced reflux at night when I lie down. It generally wakes me up several times a night and I have to cough several times to clear my throat. The saliva burns my throat where I know something else is going on besides a simple cough. I have never had this before, am I too tight or am eating too late at night (i.e. a couple of hours before bedtime) ??
  6. December 28th is the big day for me........can't wait to start off the new year with a new outlook on life.:rolleyes2:
