Hello all. I was banded in January of this year and am down 114 lbs. I can't believe how much my life has/is changing. I am doing things now that I only used to dream about! Dr. Miller is my surgeon and I would HIGHLY recommend him and the entire MOSA team. Dr. Miller is direct and right to the point (which I respect) Dr. Choban is also right to the point and FUNNY!! I personally have not met Dr. Price, but only hear good things about him. I LOVE the support groups that are offered to MOSA patients! The NUT (andrea) is aweome. I am very happy I chose MOSA

My surgeon is out of Mount Carmel West...... I live on the far east side of Columbus ( 256 area) and am looking for a new family Dr. Any suggestions???? Thanks :thumbup:

Congraulations. I can only imagine how much your life has changed. You are beautiful!!! May I ask if you have had to have any skin surgery since losing your weight?

I also went to Dr. Curry's seminar and to my first visit. He is the "band" Dr. so he doesn't push RNY. I opted to stay here in columbus with Mid Ohio Surgical Associates. Personally I was more comfortable with staying overnight in the hospital where I could be monitored rather than in one of the hotels Dr. C's office recommends. His office and staff has alot of bells and whistles and is cheaper since there is no overnight stay, but my experience with Dr. Miller, Dr. Price and Dr. Choban has been WONDERFUL.
