    Congrats! I'm also a patient of Dr. Urbandt. I was scheduled to be banded in Dec 09, but I was not ready. Hoping to have it done in June. Good lucK!!!!!

    HI My insurance papers were sent in December 1st and I received my approval letter 12/9/09, scheduled for surgery 12/16/09. However, my surgery was cancelled because I found out 12/15/09 (the day before surgery) that I needed to pay a liability co payment of 900.00 before the lapband could be performed. I wish I had known this when I started the process in June.

    Hi December Bandster, I'm schedule to banded on 12/4/09! Was approved by my insurance company today! Nervous and excited all at the same time.
