I started my lap band journey in April 2009. I went thru all the appointments necessary. I was going thru a program called the True Results. Unfortunately my insurance did not recognize this. It took me two months to find my present doctor, that my insurance approved of. I found him. His name is Dr Steinberg, in Decatur. He was awesome. I thought I would have to repeat the whole program again, but I didn't. On November 5, 2009, I had my lap band surgery. So far I have lost 30 lbs. I go for my first fill on the 14th of December. Can't wait.
