  1. Teriamn, thanks for posting. I am having the same trouble. I had surgery Thursday, had a little broth Friday and it seemed ok. Today I tried to drink a protein drink and only had a little bit, then had pain that felt like acid reflux. Guess I'll call my doc on Monday.
  2. My surgery was yesterday. The (gas) pain in my shoulder is mostly gone now but the tummy pain is still hanging around. I dont like to take pain meds during the day because they make me feel "fuzzy", but I guess I'll need to... Thanks SharShar for the heating pad idea.
  3. HAPPY "NEW LAPBAND DAY" TO ME!!!! Had my surgery early this morning and am now back home with my new LapBand! No problem! Took longer than expected because they fixed a 'surprise' hernia too, but I was drinking water and walking around at the hospital in no time and then they let me go home! The port/incision places dont hurt that much, it is more of a dull pain. I do have sharper pain in my shoulder from the gas, hopefully that will go away soon... Havent taken pain meds yet... Hope everyone else did great today and best wishes to everyone on the list for tomorrow...
  4. Tomorrow is my big day too! I'm a little nervous... Good luck to everyone else!
  5. My surgery date is Dec 3rd.... I'm a bit nervous... Excited about getting smaller and healthier... A little worried about giving up my well-loved Diet Pepsi... It will be nice to have people to share with who are going through the same thing at the same time. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all.
