I talked to the nurse mt Dr said he wants the band removed and go with the sleve my band is half full cant get any more fills because of tight esophagus if they did a fill i would get food stuck and choke. so as soon as they hear from my insurance it will be bye bye band.

I am supposed to get my first fill on Thursday the 13th. honestly don't think I need one. I am averaging about 3 1/2 to 4 lbs a week. I was banded on 12/6. I am finally getting comfortable and adjusting to the forgien object in my body. I have introduced some fruits and veggies and today introduced a 1/2 of a 1/2 english muffin (made eng. muffin pizzas for lunch). I am not able to eat much (but at times I am also scared to eat). Afraid something will get stuck. So I guess I am just asking what anyone else would do? If you are losing this much a week would you still get a fill? I was thinking about calling the dr to let them know, and maybe save me a trip to the dr. But not sure if he will still want to see me anyways! Advise or input would be appreciated! Thanks,

Hi im 54 going in for my surgery on the 20th start my liquid diet sunday the 10th. had to do all the [reop stuff for 6 months and lost on ly 6 ponds so stressfull but now im on my way.
