  1. HI, I was banded on Tuesday. I was also very swollen and had a lot of gas pain. But today I feel great. I was able to drink more and had a whole popsicle. I think today was a turning point in the recovery. I basically feel like I did too many situps. But overall the bad pain is gone.
  2. Hi, I am getting ready for surgery on 11/24. I am currently doing the preop liquid diet. It is tough and I am hungry but my motivation to do well lets me overcome all that. The journey to get here was quite simple and I feel gave me plenty of time to really educate myself on the whole process. My advise to you is read, read and read somemore. There are many books and online chat rooms such as this one to get more information. Also, you tube is great. You can actually watch a surgery take place. I wish you all the luck in your journey.....let me know if you have any specific questions.
