  1. I'm scheduled for lap band in April. You girls have convinced me..I'm throwing my scale in the garbage befoe I have my surgery. LOL! I don't need something ELSE to drive me crazy, and deep down inside I know I'd be like the person weighing after every bathroom break. :-)

Are you guys talking "TheCher?" - Buono??? If so, how cool! You guys are having a blast! Sounds like there's a lot of interaction and support among Lap Banders. That must help. I hope I can find some local to me. (NJ) - I don't see a picture of the group posted? How do I access that?
  3. This is a great find. I will look for it as I prepare to move forward with my surgery. My husband was electrocuted a few yrs ago. He survived, but has never been the same since. Works a "menial" job but at least can work. But, when he's home he's always in his chair. Rarely smiles, fights depression, etc. I'm going to see if I can get him to use this also. What do we have to lose right? Thanks for the input!

Oh my! You guys are scaring me. I think I'm probably older than the rest of you. The pics I'm looking at are pretty young woman. I've been fighting being over 100 lbs over goal for over 30 yrs. I feel like this is my last ditch effort to be able to see all of my grandkids grow up. So, I'm finally taking the plunge. Due to insurance my surgery isn't til April 2010! But, I'm worried now. What if it doesn't work for me? Keep your chin up girls. Hopefully the weight will start dropping off and you can give me some good news! Good luck to all of you. Be happy.
