  1. I am 62 and was banded on Feb 15. I had no pain after surgery and went back to work a week later. I am finding that I have a new lease on life as I look forward to being a healthier and happier senior citizen

  3. Hi Northern Mist, It sounds like you are very confident that everything will work out. I wish I had your positive outlook. I am doing this because I know I have to. I have been kidding myself for years that I will lose weight but it never happened. My daughter had a gastric bypass a few years ago. It did change her life but it is not all good. I will not change the anatomy of my body. I guess I am angry with myself that I am even doing this. Does that sound strange? Anyway, keep the faith. We both have a long journey ahead of us.
  4. Well, here goes, Answer the questions you are comfortable with and we will get to know eachother a little better. #1. Surgery date? 2/15 #2. State you live in? Massachusetts #3. Doctor/Surgery Center? #4. Insurance or self pay? Insurance #5. Age and height #6. Current weight and goal weight? #7. What was your deciding factor for having this surgery? #7. Do you have the support of family and friends? #8. Concerns and questions? I am concerned that I am making a decision that I will regret. .......................and anything else you would like to add! We all know this is going to be a long road and we will all handle things differently so let's be there for eachother and make this journey a little easier!
