I am an RN who has struggled with weight all my life. I have been thinking about lap band surgery for 2 years and it has taken me a year to be able to get on the surgery schedule. My current BMI is 33. I am scheduled for surgery 3 days before Thanksgiving. I have not been able to attend the support groups offered through the program at the hospital due to work obligations so I am looking for a support group on line.
