Hi, i'm a 38 year old female living in alabama. I have diabetes and high blood pressure. and of course over weight. I am looking to have lapband surgery.  I am waiting on my insurance to approve me for the surgery.  I have turned in all paper work required and been waiting for 3 weeks now to here from them. I would like some real facts from those who are banded.  Your fears and your discomforts. your eating habits and things that normally get stuck.  I guess I just want to know about these things because I fear this happening to me.  I'm excited but at the same time scared.  But most of all I'm scared of not living a healthy, full life and being able to play with my boy's/ What concerns me is my mom passed away @ the age of 43 from an heart attack she was over weight just like me.  Which may have contribute to her heart attack, which I was told.    Well this is my story, I'm looking forward to my journey and your help.
