I would call too...I hate fills and haven't experienced anything like that. Are you feeling alright otherwise? Wonder if it is just a coincidence that you are coming down with something. My Dr. makes me drink Water in his office after a fill to make sure it goes thru - do you do that? If not, maybe request it. Good Luck.

I am down 51 lbs....49 more to go. Dr. was astounded at my progress. This is about when I start to get cocky and blow everything.

So - for a split second I forgot I had a new belly and shoved a piece of deli ham in my mouth. Chewed about 2 times and swallowed as I hurried to do something. Then I remembered and was like, "noooooooo!" Even asked hubby to reach down and pull it out!! OMG. I thought my stomach was going to rip thru my chest like an alien. The pain was excruciating and the retching was horrible. After about 30 min I made it onto chat and Crimmy and the folks told me to walk, jump up and down, and put my arms in the air. So I did - around the block. Neighbors were LOVING that I am sure. But it worked!! I am still alive and no ham came UP so I am assuming it went DOWN. I am told to have pineapple juice and papaya enzyme on hand for next time. PLEASE don't let there be a next time!! Thanks everyone!!

Hehe - here is my belly 1mo post-op and 1 day post-fill. There are 7 cuts. As an extra bonus, you get to see the elastic marks from my bra and jeans. And NO - my left boob is NOT purple/bruised...just must be the lighting. Not too shabby huh?? I show them off like battle scars to anyone that will look. Dr. asked me if I'd come to support group and show them - SUUURRREEE!

I have nothing but good things to say about my surgery with Dr. Ali...my belly looks great...he came to visit me in the room...got the Soups and popsicles flowing... Everything happened exactly like he told me it would. THAT is awesome.

First fill at my first follow up. Easy Schmeasy. Although, I am glad my port incision is still numb because if I had had to FEEL what I SAW out of the corner of my eye I would have passed out. lol So, down 37lbs from when this all started last fall.

I am home now - minimal pain so far today... I did it!

Thursday it was worse - called surgeon who wanted me to be seen and get on antibiotics. Turns out it is The Strep. I am well on my way to recovery thanks to a speedy diagnosis and free Obama antibiotics. Is this what it is like to live in Canada?? :cursing:

Are you freaking kidding me? I haven't eaten a thing (okay - I did suck one potato chip until it disintegrated) for 9 days and now I am sick. Horrible sore throat. Am I going to have to postpone my surgery that is scheduled for Wednesday?? I am fixin to snap a hard trip. :smile::sneaky::sad::cursing::sneaky::sad:

Got the call today that I was approved. Took less than a week (Highmark). Now we have to do one more test that I forgot to get done (scope). THEN I GET A DATE. Omg omg omg

Thanks guys - I did try the nasal one and it was a disaster...the full face is better for me. Yes, the swelling goes down pretty quickly. I just don't want to have baggy eyes when this is all said and done! LOL I don't want to have to "lift" them too! :thumbup:

I am fairly new to the sleep apnea mask deal (which I refer to as my scuba suit). I have the full face mask and I don't think I am wearing it too tightly, it is snug to avoid leaks but does not leave marks on my face. Anyway - I wake up with swollen eyes. Does anyone else experience this? Leaks when I roll usually wake me up so I don't think I have air blowing on my eyes during the night...plus both are swollen which would be pretty coincidental if it were happening on accident. Just curious.
