  1. Thanks fellow bandsters. I already called NYU and I was told they accept patients on a case to case basis. I sent them my op report and still waiting their approval. I really hope they take me in as everyone says they're the best. Plus they are very close to where I live. Started 10/14 370 pounds 11/2 339 pounds. No fills yet
  2. Hello New Yorker. Does anyone know a fill doctor in NYC? I got my band overseas and I'm a bit concerned I won't find a doctor in NY who would be willing to do follow ups and adjustments. HELP! Thanks. Soliman
  3. Hello everyone, I got banded 2 weeks ago outside the US. I'm moving back to NYC just in time for my first fill and that's why I'm looking for a fill doctor over there. I already emailed a couple of doctors and both told me they don't do fills for people who got banded in other clinics. I'm starting to get really worried because fills are so important for the success of the band. Does anyone know a fill doctor in NYC? It would be VERY VERY helpful for me. Good luck to you all... BTW I lost 15 pounds already. Ahmed
  4. I got banded Oct 14, 2009 at 350 pounds. My short term goal is to reach 330 by end of 2009. The only thing that's worrying me is to lose my muscle mass. A close friend of mine lost 80 pounds but he looks weak and skinny. I don't want to be like that. Any advice on what I need to do to maintain my muscles? Ahmed
