  1. I am a Deputy with a large department in California. I was banded on 10/19/09. Six days out and 12 pounds down, I'm looking forward to getting back to work. I'm a little concerned about that first tussle that's sure to come. I still have a little pain, and the idea of getting in and out of the car 20 times a shift is bothering me. I would like to know how long other officers waited before going back to patrol?
