Age and height? 40/5'2" #6. Current weight and goal weight? 215/130 goal #7. What was your deciding factor for having this surgery? Health - I have High blood pressure, prediabetes, joint pain, and high cholesterol. #7. Do you have the support of family and friends? Yes. Only my husband knows - for now. #8. Concerns and questions? Yes. I worry that I won't lose weight even after surgery. I worry about the amount of skin that will be left "if" I lose weight. I worry about all of the "bad" things that I have read about happening to me-vomiting, being able to eat too much, etc.

Hello everyone. I have been looking into the LapBand for around 9 months and finally in January decided that it was right for me. I am now scheduled for surgery with Dr. Oliak (Brea, CA) on February 24, 2010. I have approximately 85 pounds to lose. This seems to be my last hope and I worry that I still won't lose the weight. :thumbup:
