  1. I was banded 12/9/09 and have not had a fill yet. I have had constant gas since my banding. I have not drank out of staws, no carbonated drinks or anything. Just living on gasx:cool:
  2. I was banded on 12/9 and so far so good. I can totally realte on the gas thing though! For me its not left over from surgery, but EVERYTHING I eat gives me gas! I guess I will start on the GasX bandwagon LOL! My first 5 days were really rough, had a fever of about 100-101 but it finally broke. No infection. After that it was like a swith was turned on! I am down a total of 31 lbs since my first appointment on 9/9/09. I went to my post op and did not get a fill. My choice. I seem to be loosing at a decent pace right now. Maybe in a few more weeks if I stay hungry. Anyway, I hope everyone is doing ok! Remember, God helps those who help themselves and that is what we are doing! DiAnna
  3. Yeah! My band got approved :-) My surgery date is set for December 9th. The forum has been great to know I am not alone! I have lost 14 lbs since my consultation. I will drop back in after my surgery and let you know how it went! YEAH for US, we are taking control :-)
  4. I tested positive for severe sleep apnea. I stopped breathing 149 times in one hour! The said I had to get a CPAP. I tried the mask and I woke up all night with it, dry mouth. Then the silicone started giving me a rash on my face. I now have the nose pillow one. Not much better. I have a deviated septum and my presure is 19. I usually end up throwing it off half way through the night! Anyway, it has convinced me to finally get my band! Hopefully I can get rid of that stupid machine then! Good luck on your study.
