Theresa I will for sure keep intouch and we can go through the days after together. I totally agree with the build up being the most nerve racking. I find that this week to be the worst as the date fastly approaches. Trying to fit in a few old favourite foods in before the big day that I know I will probably never eat again. Well I am having surgery June 10th and I am excited to have it done but a little scared as well. I am glad to hear you all are doing so well after your surgery. Did you have to stay overnight? I will be going home the same day as the surgery if all goes according to plan...fingers crossed. I am just so happy to be finally getting this done and to be able to start a new me.

Hi everyone, I went to my Dr. regarding having the band surgery and he was not all that supportive. I found it to be rather depressing. He did not believe it works. I told him that I have seen on the website that it does work. Anyways he told me to walk up the Mountain in our town everyday and diet. Nice! I am still going to go ahead with the surgery, I think he is just old school. Still trying to decide which surgeon to see. (I live on Vancouver Island). Cheers

Hi I am currently trying to decide if I should go to Mexico or stay in Canada for my surgery. Could anyone tell me their experience with going to Mexico, cost, dr. accommodations and such?
