  1. I am being banded next Thursday, Oct 29th. I do not know about the Gall Bladder, but I was also diagnoses as being B1 deficient and just told to take B1 supplements.
  2. I am also being banded on the 29th. I am planning on returning to work on Wednesday or Thursday. I also have a desk job. The dr said one week off should be sufficient. Best of luck to you!
  3. I have senstivity to latex, although the hospital terms it a latex allergy. Does anyone know if this will be a problem with the lap band surgery?
  4. I meet with the nutritionist again on the 21st, 1 week before the surgery.
  5. I am being banded on the 28th. I have not heard anything from my doctor about fasting prior to surgery. Does everyone have to fast or go on liquid diet before hand, or are the requirements different for everyone? Also, curious about length of stay in the hospital after surgery. I am being told I can be in and out of the hospital in less than 23 hours.
  6. I just received my surgery date, I am being banded October 21st. I am very excited and a bit nervous
