    I am being banded next Thursday, Oct 29th. I do not know about the Gall Bladder, but I was also diagnoses as being B1 deficient and just told to take B1 supplements.

    I am being banded on the 28th. I have not heard anything from my doctor about fasting prior to surgery. Does everyone have to fast or go on liquid diet before hand, or are the requirements different for everyone? Also, curious about length of stay in the hospital after surgery. I am being told I can be in and out of the hospital in less than 23 hours.
