I have had enough. I have been fighting this battle for so long that I am out of weapons. But the war is not over! I am praying that I will have a new weapon soon--the lap band. I had to get to a place where I have had enough and I'm there.
I am a Christian and take my faith in God very seriously. I know that I do not glorify Him with my body and that I have a severe addiction to food. I realized that I needed to do something big that would enable me to cross that line and never go back. That is what this surgery will do for me.
