Hi everyone I was banded August 21st I have lost 28lbs, I have post op scheduled on October 25th I wonder if i should get fill on that visit,I am starting to feel no santity when I eat 4 oz. dont know how to make my ticker work either for the past 2 weeks no weight loss or gain.:nervous

2001- Well I went to my first seminar on lapband surgery in Las Vegas. I then attened another one that same year and was able to see Carni Wilson after she had her surgery done. I thought to my self at that tiime maybe this was to invasive for me and I just need to try harder , try another diet. 2003- I have finally come to the decision that I need some help. Wen to another seminar on Lapband surgery. I saw one of my high school friends she had Gastric bypass about 1 year ago and she looks and she says she feels great. She also just had breast augmentation completed. May had psych eval done , chest xray, blood work found out that I have hypothyroidism. July Was seen by the surgeon today was told that I needed to make the decision on what surgery I wanted to have. Was discussed on the pro's and con's of both surgeries. I have choosen LapBand. Set Surgery date for August 21 2006. August Day before surgery very, very nervous , everyone here at the site has been very supportive. Trying to be positive about the whole thing.

Yes, thankyou for helping me start to think of the posotive aspects of it, I really appreciate the support, will let everyone know how everything goes tomarrow.

Yes, feeling of being selfish, also just about the potential risks and complications involved, am I just opening another door to let these things be a higher percentage to myself other than just leaving things alone. I guess it really is hitting me when you have to sign informed consent over all the complications and risks involved with the surgery.

Thankyou everyone for the advice and support. I just can't stop thinking about the informed consent the surgeon gave me at Pre op appt. Reg. all the potential complications and risks involved.

Hello I am new to this site, going through alot of emotions rightnow, my surgery is very soon. Been having second thoughts , trying to talk myself out of it. Very emotional time for me right now. If any of you out there felt the same why before surgery could you give me some advise on how you delt with it. Thanks :phanvan
