  1. I have been banded since sept 21 2009. My doctor said I sould be eating more chopped food than I am. I am sticking to eggs and soups because other foods are just so hard to get down. When I do eat soilds it feels as if its stuck. I have lost 50 pounds so far and didnt even get a fill yet. What should I be eating, does anyone else have a problem getting the food down.
  2. You are prob. right. I have lost 30 pounds in 3 weeks. Only thing is I am having pain when I eat or drink anything. I am on a soft diet. When the food goes down it hurts. I can feel a dull pain as it travels down. May have to go for upper GI tests. My doctor said she does not know why this is.
  3. Basically this band is a slow torture devise. I find I am just starving myself. I am allowed to eat soft foods, but find there is not much out there. I love soup but unless you make it yourself the salt content is high. Protein drinks are fine but how many can you drink. If I was on this diet without being banded I would of lost weight. I didn’t need the band for this. I have had no fills yet and am worried that when I do get a fill back to liquids again and start this all over. Sure the weight comes off when you on a liquid diet.
