  1. I had my procedure done 10/1/2009. Currently I weigh 235 lbs. and am looking to get down to about 145lbs. I don't want to be a skinny minnie. I want to be a healthy one and although weight is not truly indicative of our health status, I will be using mine as a motivator. Hope you all have great success on your journeys and feel free to share with me as I will do about mine. God bless :thumbup:

  4. I just had surgery yesterday, and I look forward not to the smaller size in clothes although that in itself is an incentive. I am looking however, to be off my high blood pressure medication once and for all.
  5. See, I told my Doctor that I had come to terms with the fact that I need help. In the event that I could have done it alone, I would have never gotten to this point to begin with.
