  2. im not diebetic or on any meds. my band was early monday morning sept 14th. all my vitals are always normal or above average.
  3. ive drank about 16oz of gatoraide since about for about the last 3 hours. feel hazy and weak. since i have no problems drinking liquids and tomorrow starts my full liquid diet, im thinking of drinking a myoplex lite now for all the nuetrients it has. i was going to have one in the morning anyway...any thoughts on that?
  4. Thanks for all the posts. Im really glad i found this site. The dr called and she said as long as im not having chest pains that i should drink some gatoraide to get some potassium and some electrolites. if not better to goto e.r.

  7. started in my fingers and hand now my arm. im pretty healthy and all vitals are always normal or really good. is this because im not taking in nutrients? is this also normal? i dont want to be an alarmest either
  8. i have slept in my recliner since the surgery. The gas pain was really bad i couldnt lay down in bed. I read on here about gas x strips that melt in your mouth. i took 2 strips in the evening of day two, it didnt seem to help, but in the middle of the night i finally felt a little differant and had my first bit of gas removal. Was never so happy to toot. i dont like walking but i am doing it every 2-3 hours, it not much but its movment. i want to really follow the program, so i am going to deal with the lack of energy and weakness until i start drinking the protien shakes again. it may be a coinsadence but on day two i started drinking 4oz glass of 100% blueberry juice it is so good and good for you
  9. Today starts my 4th day post op. Im worried im not taking in enough calories i get tired easy and i do walk every few hours. I havnt been nausous and only felt the super bloat for the first 2 days. Each day seems to be better then the last.
  10. you and i were banded on the same day, sept 14th. They put me on liquid tylonal w/codiene. i havnt felt nausous, but the gas pain for the first two days was really bad. Now im just a little sore and slow moving. Each day seems to be getting a little better. I do feel i need to start taking in some calories because i get tired easy and last night felt cold and weak.
