Hello to all! I am going through Aetna's requirements and I am almost finished! I have one more nutrition meeting next month ( Nov. 13th) and I am excited, scared, anxious etc. I am anxiously waiting for my file to be submitted for approval (keeping my fingers crossed)! I am ready for a new beginning! Wish me luck!

Hello! I had the stomach examination done and it was quite easy. All they do is run an IV, put you to sleep, and they wake you up! They monitor you for a while. My throat was kind of scratchy for a couple of days. But other than that, smooth sailing! Congrats on your date! The best is yet to come! I'm still going through Aetna's requirements. Next month will be my last month. I hope everything goes smooth. Good Luck!

Congrats! This is my second attempt. I was denied last year and was very discouraged! I decided to try again, and went to the seminar on 7/20. I am going to try this one more time! I want it so bad! You are almost there! Good Luck to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello, I hope everything went well. I have just completed all of my requirements and my folder should be sent off tomorrow. I wonder how long does it take for Aetna to approve someone? I am anxiously waiting and will continue to stay positive. What happens after you receive that call, or approval letter? What are the next steps?

Hello to you! I feel the same as well. I am 220 pounds, and I hold my weight well. I hear that I don't need the surgery all the time. I feel like if they are happy with themselves, woooopppeeee! But for me, I am going to go through with this process to become a better and healthier me. People are going to always have something to say.
