  1. I am over a year out and to this day salad is hit or miss. Everyone is different, if that yummy sounding salad you had goes down for you, go for it! Just keep in mind, if you are going to get any more fills, things might change. After my last fill and my doctor doesn't think I will need another, I was having trouble eating things like vegetables, but after awhile things eased up.
  2. I am a year and 4 months out. I have started to notice something since my last fill, I think I am at my sweet spot, mostly that things don't taste "salty" enough, while my wife seems hyper-sensitive to salt. I have been post-op long enough to know everyone is different, but have others had the same issue I have had, with things not being salty enough? I am just curious. Thanks :wink2:
  3. I agree, in our lap-band®® support group we have Bandsters that are frustrated with the slowness they are losing the weight, but some are just two months out or less. It will take time and they will lose the weight.
  4. I do not know why you're so frustrated. You're losing weight and there will be ups and downs. Times when you lose weight faster and times when it slows down. My wife has lost over a hundred and forty pounds in two and a half years and she looks great. One reason I chose to have LB is because you lose weight slowly. Plus I believe losing it slowly lessens that lose skin. 75 pound so far is great.
  5. I have always been an exception to the norm when it comes to lap-band. I can drink while I eat and I do drink a beer once and awhile. I have not really had any problems with beer or soda, but I just don't drink very much, but I also beleive you still have eat and drink things that you like!
