  1. I used to weigh 340 lbs. I dropped down to 177. I have gained more than 30 back from poor eating habits and less exercise.
  2. Hello bandsters, I made my goal to be 185 in one year. I had obstacles along the way, I constantly ate too fast and without chewing food properly. My band was loosened and tightened toaccommodate the struggles. I ate foods which were lean, kept up with regular exercise, and drank plenty of water. I take bariatric vitamins from bariatric advantage.com. My weight has changed over the years, almost been five since operation. I am over weight again, now. Initially when heavy, I hired a personal trainer who literally worked my butt off.
  3. I love ketchup and I used to drink a ton of diet coke before surgery. YOu say I can combine ketchup and dietcoke and cook out all the carbination in the soda. This will make a tasty sauce. This is interesting but I need to try it to see how it tastes.
  4. seasoned Chicken breast with baby spinach on the side. I also had purple g2 gatorade.
  5. Hey if they have hamburgers, Only eat the meat and dont eat the buns. Eat the meat along with the veggies that come with the burger. If they have quiznos eat salad if available or eat a small sandwich which is not toasted. The toasted things usually dont go down easily. Dont eat the pizzas and heavy foods with fats. If your school has a salad bar, stick to the salad bar. Eat protein first and then eat your veggies. Drink plenty of water and take your vitamins.
  6. What kinds of food are you eating. Are you eating things that are high in fat. Are u drinking enough water and exercising. I had problems with my band also. I had to remove some of the solution because it was too tight and I often went to the bathroom to barf. I gained weight after the nurse removed the solution. I had more food and then gained weight. I have gained I ton of weight. I suggest to keep to a diet that works. High protein and low fat diets. My doctors and nurses told me not to snack between meals. It is very difficult to do this. I will try to quit snacking and I will drink more water than usual. I hope this will help me with the weight.
  7. suggestion for eggs, Dont scramble them. Try oatmeal with eggs added. Boil Water in a pot and crack open and drop yolk and all into the pot. This is similar to egg drop Soup. Strain the water in a strainer and afterwards place cooked egg in a bowl of cooked oatmeal. All you do next - stir the mixture and then serve!!!! Add other sweeteners for taste Hint: I buy the weight control instant oatmeal
  8. I am 23 and I fit in the category. I have lost over one hundred pounds. I am probably on the record for successful weight loss after lap band treatment within a year. I weighed over 330 pounds during the time of surgery. Two years has lapsed since surgery. I don't go to support groups. I still have problems eating and chewing my food. I have gained several pounds after removing some solution. I had had complications with digestion of foods.
