    Hi Kurby ! I am also getting lap band August 11, 2010. Soooo excited ! I am 5'4" and weigh 325 lbs. I need to set a goal too. I think my first goal will just be to be below 300 (299 lbs). lol I'm new to this site so bear with me.

    I am hearing about your lap bands and insurance paying for them. What about the people that their insurance will not pay and we are self-pay. Anyone out there doing self pay. I was told it's $17,000. And are there any new posts out there for 2009 ???
