How do I get the a weight loss ticker on my posts???? I made one, but not sure where to put it so it appears. Guess I did it wrong, since it is not here~! LOL

Wow-- It was great reading all the posts. I am three weeks post-op and about 18 pounds down. Fill will be in a few weeks. Looks like all of us are doing great and dropping pounds, hoping mine will start to fall again when I get my fill. I can feel a little restriction, and eat smaller portions, but every three hours or so. Keep up the great work. Love to all K~

TZN, Were you banded on the 17th too?

I don't have my fill scheduled yet. Probably in about 2 weeks. I was eating toast yesterday and it got stuck? and HURT! I couldn't eat anything else all day, and even today have been sticking to liquids. It still kinda hurts and am having pain in my left shoulder. I think I am eating alot less, but more often. I am hungry in the morning, noon and at dinner too. But I am trying to limit the quantity and make healthy choices. Hope you all are doing well. K~

I was reading back on older posts, I guess this is what is called Bandster Hell huh??? I am trying to eat healthy and small portions, but it does seem, as I start to feel better and heal...my appetite is coming back as well! The only thing I have had any trouble with is pasta. Felt like it was kinda getting stuck. Good luck to all bandsters!! Love- K~

I had my band on 9-17. I am on solid foods now and seem to be hungry about every 2-3 hours. I had lost 18 pounds and have regained 3. I seem to be able to eat quite a bit, or just about anything. ?? Hoping this will change after a fill. I had my surgery in Mexico and am not being followed up on, just kinda winging it~! Anyone hungry two weeks post op? Thanks--

Was banded in Mexico on the 17th. Plane landed in San Diego at noon and was in surgery at 3:30...Was a whirlwind, but I am home now and feeling ok. A little tired, a little sore, a little hungry..but not bad. Take care all new bandsters... love K~

I have fallen off the list too...I think someone copied an early version of it...so I will add me back on. Tomorrow is the big day, flying to San Diego, then on to TJ Mexico, surgery same day...and fly back Saturday.. Good Luck to all going soon. Will post as soon as I can. Love to all-- Kimberly~

I had my last supper last Saturday...well, actually it was lunch..and my second year Anniversary. We had prime rib and twice bakes...was very good. Just drank my Citrate of Magnesia...probably should have drank it earlier...lol Hmmmm....one more full day till surgery. K~

I was dreaming about food last night too...geeze! Pancakes with syrup--lots of it!. (And I don't even care for syrup). LOL. What is this about??? Food addiction? Mental Hunger?? I have always dreamed of food when I was dieting in the past. Usually eating at buffets! LOL I just need to keep myself occupied. :mad2: K~

Hey Everyone..Just read all the posts I missed. Thanks for the info Pam. I know I can do it. I am SURE it is gonna be a long day though. Glad to see the MX successes, it really eases my aprehensions...lol. My husband is coming to MX with me...thank goodness!! The flights back will be a 12 hour ordeal. I am flying into Columbus OH, and will be staying the night there instead of driving home after 11pm at night. (Its a 2 hour drive). Keeping my eye on the prize...a thinner- healthier person! I will be banded on Thursday 9-17. In Mexico. Scared, but determined. I have been reading all your posts and feel much encouragment from them all. I am VERY worried about the LONG flight home on Saturday. Hope I feel up to it. How did you all feel two days after? Thanks for being here!!

I am also thinking of having it done in Mexico. There are Fill Centers USA that will do the fills. Not bad on pricing either. Check them out.

I too am scheduled for the 17th, and VERY VERY nervous. Even maybe considering backing out. My insurance won't cover any weight loss procedure, so I am going to Mexico-self pay.

I am also going to Mexico..Sept 17. How is your follow-up care. Do you see your regular at home doctor. What about your fills.
