Nice to hear how well you are doing. The positive stories keep me motivated!
  2. This is post band day 16 for me and I am rarely hungry. The first week I lost about 10 pounds but this last week not one even though I am eating less than 1000 calories a day.
  3. I am just 2 weeks post op. My surgeon told me that the lap band does not work in about 10% of patients. He said he doesn't know why but that is the statistic.
  4. I was banded on the 13th. I have been having slim fast shakes and carnation instant breakfast. Now I'm on to yogurt and cottage cheese. I find I have to eat/drink often, but I am doing well. The chocolate shakes are not bad.
