  1. Good luck. I have my consult September 11 at St. Mary's in Richmond.
  2. Congratulations. I have done the initial information session and have my first real appointment on 9/11. I can't wait.
  3. Hello everyone. I'm new to this website. I have already made up my mind, I want to have the lapband surgery. I have my informationl session on this Wednesday. My plan is to immediately start the process to get the ball rolling. I am excited and anxious. Because of my work obligations, I feel it would be best for me to have the procedure in January or February 2007. Anyone here from Central Virginia area? Is there generally a waiting list for the surgery and is it more difficult to have a certain timespan/date in mind as opposed to the next available spot? Looking forward to reading all of you all's experiences to keep me extra motivated.
