  1. Thank you so much.
  2. Thank you so much. I had the band for about two years and had to have it removed because of errosion. I would like to have the sleeve done but want to find the best Dr. out there. I used Dr Mark Watson at UT SOUTHWESTERN in Dallas for the band by he will not do the sleeve. I have a apt. with a Dr.Scott at UT but not to sure about him. Ihave been asking around about Dr.s and seven people has said Dr. Castro. I have registered on line with him and waiting for a apt. Have you had any complications with the sleeve or bad side effects? How was the hospital stay at Methodist? Thanks so much.
  3. I'm lookingfor the best Dr. in Dallas Tx. to do the sleeve for me. Any suggestions?
  4. Hello. I'm a new to this as well. I also had the band for about two years and it eroded into my stomack and had to be removed. I'm considering the sleeve and I have a apt with a surgen on Aug the 8th. I'm very nervous about this. Not knowing the long term affects is kinda scary. Have you had any bad side effects as of yet? Was the recovery very long? Thanks Tye
  5. Is it a total of 4-6 oz. per meal for everything? Prot, veggies, and fruit?
  6. I'm journaling because you need to keep up with your calorie intake. No matter what tool you have or what program you are doing to lose weight, bottom line is your calorie intake. My Dr. said to eat between 800 and a 1000 cal. a day. I journal on Sparkpeople.com.It is free and a very good support group.
  7. I have an apt.on Friday for a fill.
  8. I was banded on 7-7-09 and had my first fill on 8-7-09. At first I felt a little restricted but now I don't.I can eat just about anything and alot of it. Does this mean I need another fill? I have never felt real full to the point of spitting up. Tye:confused:
