  1. Hello. I'm a new to this as well. I also had the band for about two years and it eroded into my stomack and had to be removed. I'm considering the sleeve and I have a apt with a surgen on Aug the 8th. I'm very nervous about this. Not knowing the long term affects is kinda scary. Have you had any bad side effects as of yet? Was the recovery very long? Thanks Tye
  2. Is it a total of 4-6 oz. per meal for everything? Prot, veggies, and fruit?
  3. I'm journaling because you need to keep up with your calorie intake. No matter what tool you have or what program you are doing to lose weight, bottom line is your calorie intake. My Dr. said to eat between 800 and a 1000 cal. a day. I journal on Sparkpeople.com.It is free and a very good support group.
  4. I have an apt.on Friday for a fill.
  5. I was banded on 7-7-09 and had my first fill on 8-7-09. At first I felt a little restricted but now I don't.I can eat just about anything and alot of it. Does this mean I need another fill? I have never felt real full to the point of spitting up. Tye:confused:
