I lost 14 lbs. before surgery and 14 lbs. in the 2 months since for a total of 28.  The surgery went well.  I have been a little disappointed in my results.  I never feel full.  I can eat as much now as I could before surgery.  I don't but I could.  I do have to eat slower and chew more but other than that nothing is different.  I had my first fill 6 weeks post surgery (3mls) and it was very painful.  They had a hard time finding my port.  I have this hard lump where my port incision is and I and my Dr. and his assistant assumed that was the port.  Turns out that was a "pocket of fluid".  They did an ultrasound to locate the port and found it a couple inches lower but still had trouble filling it. I was bruised for 3 weeks.  No numbing either!  I did not notice any difference after my first fill.  My second fill was done 4 weeks after that and it went a little smoother although they still had a little bit of trouble finding the port.  No bruising this time.  They only put 1 unit in this time.  I have noticed a little difference this time although I still do not get full.  I just have to eat slower and chew more.  I had 2 episodes where I threw up.   Both in the same day.  Not sure why but am assuming it's because I didn't chew well enough.  I'm hoping someone will have had this same experience and can assure me it's normal.  I feel like I'm lossing to slowly but my Dr. says I'm on track.
