Thanks Chapmar for your help I did as you suggested and emailed Fred but as its a Sunday I probably wont hear back until mid week, I have emailed him my arrival and departure times at the airport. So feel much better now. I have already spoken with my husband but dont really want him to come because although he is great he stresses me out!! I am use to travelling alone for work, so I will get him to meet me when I get back to the station and tell him he has got to pamper me!! lol.....

Chapamar Thanks for your reply that has made me feel better already, how soon after you sent the deposit did he confirm the date? He has said that the date is ok and he will wait for the deposit but I worry anyway!! What sort of things will you be taking with you? Has anyone talked to you about a pre op diet yet? I am scared but excited, how about you!! I have just sent details off of the WLS to see if they will provide me with aftercare and fills in Cardiff!!:wub:

Hi All I have spoken to a few of you on here a couple of weeks ago and from your replies decided to go ahead and contacted Fred. He kindly sent me some dates in October and as I have work/holiday committments I have decided to go with his package of hotel, taxis and treatment, which I thought was a good price!. I have sent off my deposit and booked my fights, will be arriving in Zaventem by the airport about 4.00 pm on Thursday October 15th for a consultation and surgery on the 16th October. Does anyone know if 4.00pm the day before is ok as I couldnt get there any earlier? Also I am coming on my own, will that be ok? Is there anything I need to bring with me, and do they give advice on what to eat afterwards and for how long etc. as I am worried I dont know. Last but not least how long does it take for Fred to get back and confirm receipt of deposit so I know they have definately received it? Sorry for all the questions, I am worried and excited and wonder if any of you will be there on 15th/16th/17th/18th October? Thanks:thumbup:

Hi Everyone I have been reading through the posts and have made a decision that I would like to go to Belguim after my holiday at the end of September. I have been dieting on and off all my life but just seem to get a stone heavier after each diet!! A couple of years ago I lost 3st on the Lighterlife diet but as usual it all went back on, the same thing happened to my friend!! I have 3 1/2 stone to lose, could lose 4 but my husband would moan. I am only 5ft and my BMI is 34, I am 50 years old Female suffering from High Cholestorol, High Blood Pressure and now it looks like I am getting problems with my joints and pains etc. I have been trying to find someone with similar problems as I am not sure if Dr Chris would let me have a band at this level, I am taking the Oristat but it doesnt seem to be working...... Can someone give me some advice it would be very much appreciated, thanks
