  1. If your asking to get an opinion on what to do for yourself i would suggest you ask your doctor first. Everyone's doctors have different opinions and orders on what to do . The best thing is to ask your doctor . My experience the post op diet was not that bad , My doc had me do a week of each stage. HTH Mindy
  2. OK folks kick me in my a$$ today . I have to get back on track. I have been so lazy . I AM going to start today . im going to start at week 2 i think. Try to get a fast track back into the program . Whosya that is AWESOME ! Your such an inspiration !!! You rock .. Mindy
  3. Welcome to the loser club ! LOL Congrats on your surgery . what great thing to be able to have the surgery with your best friend. That is awesome ! I did not take "before' pics from head to toe , and I wish i had . The before pics I drug out are HORRIBLE LMAO . I wish i had taken actual before pics. Cant wait to see your pics. Take it easy the next few days and again welcome ! Mindy
  4. I honestly cant imagine recovery if i had been smoking still . I had my gall bladder surgery and i was still smoking and it was not fun. from this surgery i KNOW It would have been much harder, i was a 2 pack a day smoker and smoked for over 15 yrs. I was 15 when is started smoking and until i was 31! Its worth it to quit. Mindy
  5. It took me a long time to even FIND a before pic and when i did it took me a long time to post them , I had to feel good enough about myself , i think it was at about 50lbs I posted on here ? Mindy
  6. Thanks ya'll . Laruend I didnt mean to hijack your thread with my pics i hate when people do that . I want to see your pics. this can be the " Look at my new jeans thread" LMAO Mindy
  7. here are some before and during pics to compare. Laurend where are the pics of you in your new clothes ??? Mindy
  8. So my size 14 jeans came in today . I ordered them online so i was not sure how or if they would fit !!!! THEY FIT !! SEE!~! Mindy
  9. I was JUST about to call you . Wow he took out 1.5 huh ? That's good you feel better, I was worried about ya . call me when you get off ! mindy
  10. In that enviorment after just quitting i dont blame you for not going . I think i would probably hold off in that case too But do what you feel is best. Mindy
  11. I would simply ask your friend out of respect to smoke out side. eventually it gets easier to be around people who smoke, I no longer have any desire at all to smoke. But if your friend is your friend she wont mind a NON SMOKING Hotel room and she wont mind not smoking around you . HTH Mindy
  12. My wellbutrin is no longer working I dont think at least ... I have noticed when I get stressed my band gets tight. I have heard of luvox for anxiety , depression issue, anyone tried it with their band and how do you like it ? Im going to talk to my band doc and my Primary care MD next week . But would like some feed back Mindy
  13. I think they did. But My doc always makes me drink water for 30 minutes after each of my fills too and the last 2 I have been too tight, however I dont get too tight until about 3 or 4 days later. So drinking water right after is just an indicators if your too tight right then . I have learned i am sensitive to fills so i get .25 of .50 cc fills now . I cant tolerate 1cc fills. I am also on liquids for 6 days after each fill so by time get to mushies i KNOW im tight if i get stuck . LOL Anyway , she's hopefully going to feel better soon . Mindy
  14. I just got off the phone w/ stranger ,she's going in for an unfill she's stuck on water and throwing up . She cant get in until 2 though and shes in quite a bit of pain . Mindy
  15. Call me about your fill I think your too tight ! Mindy
  16. ROFLMAO that was my thinking , I too have PCOS and I told the wax girl i feel like im the only one with hair in my crack and she said " OH HONEY NO your not I have seen 3 today with it there ! " LMAO :eek::eek::eek::frown::huh2: I really have been very self conscious about it for many yrs. But no way like you Laurend was i going to shave down there . So I just swallowed my pride and had someone wax me Mindy
  17. They can check from a cotton swap test. just like insurance compaines do . I forget how long it stays in your system in the short term but it CAN show up for up to a yr . HTH Mindy
  18. I actually ASKED My doc for a hysto and she would NOT do it . She told me at my age ( i was 30 at the time ) its too dangerous , too dangerous to be on hormones for that long if its not needed plus she also said a Hysto is not an approved , recommended or FDA approved treatment for PCOS ! I think you need a second opinion ! Also you will be surprised what weight loss will do for your PCOS and fertility . Go see an endo for sure. I would make sure you tell them ur other doc recommenced a hysto . Mindy
  19. OK I think im starting over tonight ! Probably start on week 2 though . I need to get moving ! I need about 40 lbs until goal i gotta get it off ! Mindy
  20. My doc would NOT operate on me if i was smoking ! There are docs that will not operate if your smoking and some go as far as test you to make sure. They are telling you this for a reason though . People who are smokers that have surgery heal slower and bleed more. Your taking a risk of not being approved and your taking a risk with your health by not doing it. Insurances will LOOK for reasons to not approve you and i can see this as being a reason ! So i would not give them one ! I quit months before my surgery . I did not want to have to try to do it right before surgery .I quit cold turkey , well i had Patches . But there is a drug out there now called Chantix that from what I hear is EXTREMLY affective, I think there might be some threads on it around here. Everyone i know who has used it has quit on it. Even peoploe who smoke 3 packs a day . So my personal opinion and this was my reason of thinking, your having this surgery to become more healthy , why do that AND continue to smoke . YOu will not belive how much better you feel from quiting smoking alone add that on top of getting weight off , ITS AMAZING ! HTH Mindy
  21. I hear ya i cant wait to get mine cut off either. it seems this first 50 pds came off SO Fast this last 50 or so is taking quite some time. But i can wait , I THINK . even the inches are coming off slowly it seems. Tummy tuck is gonna be awesome. mine is from my PCOS . Lucky us huh . Mindy
  22. That is AWESOME !!! Im so happy for you ! Sizes are So hard now that im in "regular" size clothes. Im so happy your in a new size that is awesome. I just ordered a pair of size 14 today !!! Hopefully they fit . if it was not for this stomach appron i have i would be in a size or 2 smaller ! you will be in single digits SOON ! Be sure and take a pic of yourself in those size 14's !! Mindy
  23. Oh now THAT Is a good one ! . But I think you would have to sew a lot if you are a 10 pd over weight LMAO Just make sure if you take your clothes off the nurse doesnt pick them up or anything LMAO Mindy
  24. Honestly It really was not that bad ! There were a few  moments but all in all it was not bad . Go for it . NOW that being said , I would NOT Do a full Brazilian , i honestly think that would HURT LIKE A SOB !!! Mindy
  25. As soon as i get a second i will sit down and try to make some kind of schedule or meeting time ! I'll let you all know asap ! Mindy
