I was banded Feb 24, 2006. I have had a number of followup sergeries. First was to replace the port with a smaller one. Then I had fat deposits catch on the cord pulling on my esophogus. Now I am having really bad burning and pain when I twist. I am seriously consideering having the band removed and want to find out what other people have done to have it removed. Did insurance cover it? Was there a lot of complications? Did you have your original doctor do it or another? So many questions. I am getting worried, having a hard time sleeping and not sure what I should do. I love the weightloss but not sure it is worth this pain and discomfort.
