  1. I live on suffolk county also. I was banded on Aug 4 2009 by Dr P Mehta at the Peconic bay hospital. I am down 16 lbs
  2. Hello August Banders My name is Ed, and I am a music teacher in NY. My surgery was August 4th 2009. I did almost all liquids for 8 days with one cheat in NYC for brunch. I also went to the gym every day and did 30 mins on the elliptical. I lost 14lbs before the surgery. Doing two weeks of liquids now, and I am still trying to get rid of the gas. I dont go back to teach until aug 30 when we go to a music camp. A woman I worked with got banded on a Thursday and came back on Monday. Good Luck
