  1. Be strong... didn't your doctor put you on a liquid diet.. You can do it. It just takes some will power!! I was on liquid for 2 weeks before my band and 2 weeks after my band, then baby food.. I just started eatting regular food, but have to chew the hell out of it. Really sucks to have a piece of chicken stuck in your throat. I felt like I was choking.. You can do it.. We all did it.. Also if you don't follow the diet your band can slip and you will have to have it removed.. Then you will have to ask yourself why did I do it in the first place. Larry
