  1. Hi, New to this, but have my surgery scheduled for August 4th. I am extremely nervous. I went to a support group on Wednesday night and they brought up a woman who had her band slip twice. The second time it slipped, it had to be removed. I know the pros of the this surgery outweigh the cons and I have a lot of research into it. If I hadn't I wouldn't even be this far in the journey. I would love to hear from others how they felt pre-op. I have never had surgery...unless you count getting my wisdom teeth out...
