  1. I seem to have problems with cooked salmon. I know most people have good luck with it but not me. Raw salmon in sushi? Not a problem, I can eat that 'til the cows come home. ('til the fish swim upstream?) Beef seems to work well also, poultry is hit and miss. Bread is a problem unless crisped. Rice seems to work well for me, especially rice noodles. On the other hand, Pasta has been nothing but a problem.
  2. I stand by my original observation that you are too tight. The problem with being too tight is you can irritate the constricted area of the stomach(stoma) from stuck/pb episodes further tightening the stoma. It becomes a self-perpetuating cycle that can easily result in needing a complete de-fill or worse. I know the tendancy is to try to 'tough it out' but the opposite is usually the correct response. If the question "Am I too tight?" is crossing your mind with any kind of frequency, you probably are. The correct fill level isn't 'what's right', its 'what's right for you, right now'. I think one of the challenges of the lap-band life is that we have to remember to use it to help us, not to punish us for our perceived failings and flaws.
  3. If you can't literally drink Water, you need to have this dealt with IMMEDIATELY. A person can only survive a few days without water. That is a big part of why clinics do the 'drink some water' test after giving a person a fill. Please get checked out and let us know how you are doing.

    Gotta Luv Those NSVs!!

NSV = Non scale Victory That is awesome, congratulations!!! Just think, soon you will need to start taking links OUT of that watch. I just realized tonight that I am almost back in the cocktail dress I bought for my sister's wedding nearly 8 years ago. Too cool for words. I've been into and there inflated out of that dress a few times. Its nice to know that I will be back into it soon and that it will also soon be too big for me FOREVER!!! :frown:
  5. I have 10 days left before Sept 2 surgery date and am 4 days into the pre-op medifast diet. Its as close to vegan as I will ever get & I now understand why so many of them are miserable to be around! They are hungry, light-headed, their bodies are screaming for meat and misery loves company! Sugar, not as real problem. Starches, I can do 2 weeks without much problem But, SWEET JESUS, do I want MEAT!!
