I am a week out after having my surgery.  I thought that it would never get here.  There are so many hoops to jump through first.  But I did it.  I am so glad that I did this.  I feel great.  I am losing weight.  Well I started on the liquid diet I had to be on first.  I am excited about what is to come.  I know that I have a long way to go and some major emotional hurdles to jump but I am motivated and focused.  I am tired of hurting all the time and I don't want to go the way of my approx. 600 lb brother who died at 58 yrs of age
