  1. Thank you widget. I will write down the name ResMed Swift mask so I can I ask my doctor about that one. I appreciate your response!
  2. Are you doing this on your own or did you have surgery?
  3. I understand everything you are saying. I haven't had surgery yet or have a date yet, but I'm not telling a lot of people when I do. Sometimes I just sleep life away because I hate how I look and don't want to feel humiliated and unworthy in public. I feel guilty about this because I know life is precious. How did I get to this point? My self esteem is zero. You are going to feel so much better after August. Good for you.
  4. I want to thank everyone who responded to my question. I feel so much better and much more informed. Thank you Diana. I didn't know there was an alternative to the mask. Last night, I slept the whole night in a sitting position on the couch, with my legs extended out. I breathe better in a sitting position. Did anyone else find themselves sleeping like that before getting help?
  5. I have not had the surgery yet. Mt doctor recommended it and then my husband lost his job and insurance. We will pay cash for the operation. I know I have sleep apnea. Those in my family that have seen me (try) to sleep, know I have sleep apnea. I have constant fatigue. I am now starting to fall asleep when I drive. I fall asleep on and off during the day. I never feel rested. I am scared to death of the crap device because I have bad claustropobia. I would panic with that thing on. Can anyone offer advice? How much weight after surgery until relief from apnea?
