  1. I thought about waiting for weaning, however, I plan to do child led weaning so what if he doesn't wean til he is five? Do I wait that long for the surgery. i should also add I have breast dysplasia and therefore do not make enough milk for him anyway. He gets formula and just started playing around with some solids. He nurses early morning and evenings and gets one pumped bottle while I work. The rest is formula. Christie
  2. I have a 6 month old that I am still nursing. I don't plan on stopping anytime soon, but I am ready to have this surgery. I just called for information today and will be enrolled in the next class. I am in Roanoke VA. I have read that you can still nurse, but just wondered if any of you have been banded and still nursed and what your experience was? Thanks Christie
  3. Hi Everyone, My name is Christie and I am hoping to have surgery in Roanoke VA in the near future. I called today for information and I will be attending the next class for Dr Long. I started this process once before, but ended up getting pregnant with my second son so I had to put things on hold. Anyway, I hope to get to know everyone and have some support through this process. Christie
