Well looks as if my time is almost here. I have been thinking about this for sometime and no it seems as if everything is falling into place.Part of me dont know if i can do this or not the other half wants to very bad. I know that this is gonna be hard work see some people love to eat. We eat for different reasons .

How many people have looked at them selves and woundered what will I look like after the weightloss. My husband is very supporative but he has said that there are a lot of women who get the surgery that leave thier husbands. I feel that this surgery will not only change my apperance but will make me more confident. I dont think it will make me leave my husband. The women/men who do leave were just pretending anyway. Who thinks true love can with stand it all? Why do u think we put so much emphesis on looks? I think people are people no matter what they look like. Do any one feel that they did not get the job they wanted because of the way they look. We use to have to worry about our race or religion. funny how this world has changed. I am proud of everone on this site who has decided to take back the power from all those who make fun of us, or put us down to make themselves lool good.:thumbup:This is a new year lets make it one to remember.

Thanks everyone for your input. You are so right i will jump thru hoops to get my surgey. I have taken all the test the insurance rquired and I have my approval from them. Now it is just a matter of having the doc required test and setting a date.

Do your doctor require any health related test before he performs surgery? If so what test. I have to meet with the surgeon on Jan 22 and i will get my surgery date.

Today was a good day. This is the start of a new year and a new beginnig for me. I look at this as making my new years resolution and actually being able o keep it. We tend to make the same one all he time(this year i am gonna loose the weight). It is funny how excited and scared we become al l at the same time.There are so many things i have planned for my life once the weight is gone. My first change is to my career. This is what i have wanted for so long. I think as mothers and wilves we forget we are people to. We put everone else above us. But this is something just for me. I am almost 40 years old but that does not mean my lifeis over. I want to enjoy life to the fulliest:sneaky:

Today i decided to start a blog. A record of everythig I am going thru. I decided about 3 monhs ago to start researching about the lapband. I have been approved and have a dr appointment on Jan 22,2010 to get my surgery date. This has been a decision I should have made years ago. I have never been worried about the way I look .I am only concerned about my health. I am worried about the whole procedure but I know that God will see me thru. I know that this will make a differance in my lif. How many of you hve been to tired to clean your own house. Or too tired to make love to your husband. I want to enjoy life and live it to the fulliest:thumbup:
