For VG 10 cc Bandsters ONLY
Hi Harlito- Well I didn't really know what restriction felt like until I got this fill either. Before this fill I could eat anything, Bread, Chicken..you name it, I could eat it. After my fill, my first meal was going to be a small salad and some chicken. I had about 4 bites of my salad and 2 bites of my chicken....I felt so full. I was actually shocked....and thought okay, this is how it's supposed to be. So don't lose hope, it's just like they say, once you have restriction you will know it! Good Luck to you and let me know how your next fill goes.

For VG 10 cc Bandsters ONLY
I went and had my second fill on the 13th. I now have 6cc's in my band. I feel pretty good restriction, considering I was basically eating the way I was before the surgery. I am hoping this fill will give some results and last for a while. I'll keep you posted. Oh, and just for those who were wondering..... My first fill was 4.6 cc's when I went back I couldn't wait to see how much was left in my band. I was shocked to see that it was at 4 cc's. I thought alot more would have been missing, but I guess I lucked out. So he gave me 2 more cc's. :clap2:

For VG 10 cc Bandsters ONLY
I had surgery on the 29th of September. I had my first fill on the 27th of November. I got 4.6 cc's. The first couple of weeks I felt restriction, but after about a week and a half it was gone. I know this is typical for the VG band. Especially if it is the first fill. I am scheduled for a second fill the 13th of January. I cannot wait to see how many cc's are left in my band. I haven't lost any weight since my fill..but I have lost some inches. It's odd how that happens. People tell me they notice a difference in me, but the scale hasn't budge in over a month. I think that this second fill might last a little longer and give me that extra edge. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!

Shrinking feet???
I noticed my feet had shrunk about 1 week after surgery. My fingers also feel thinner. Smaller feet is a wonderful thing for me since I buy a 13W . Hopefully I will get down a size or two  .

Six Flags Has Nothing on Me!

Time to Put Me to the Test!
I hear ya loud and clear..The last time I got on a ride was in 1998, and that was Space Mountain at Disneyland. I avoid amusement parks at all cost. Just for that reason, I don't want to be humiliated. I think that you are going to do great and enjoy the day to the fullest! I can't wait for the day when I can go to an amusement park and ride something with my daughter....I am sure I will be thinking "I HOPE I FIT" on every ride...but that will pass once my brain realizes that I've shrunk:D HAVE A BLAST! :clap2:

it feels real now
La Chula-- Congrats to you! Your date is just around the corner :clap2: I remember being excited and anxious when my surgery date was approaching. It didn't really sink in until the day after surgery that I finally had made it I feel so good inside and out, and I'm only 1 week post-op. Everything just seems better now. My moodiness has almost completely disappeared and I feel balanced (if that makes sense.) There are so many positive things to get from this, I hope you have a wonderful experience!

Well I am finally banded....
- Bandster Hell!!
I was kind of scared about the whole knowing when your "REALLY" hungry thing. Because I know I eat alot when my head is telling me instead of my Stomach. I hope I am as good as you at recognizing real hunger instead of head hunger.- Well I am finally banded....
I am scared now. I'm due to be banded in 4 days and I didn't have any clue that the Gas pains could be that bad. I've prepared myself though. I just went out and got 2 boxes of Gas-X strip, heating pad, Neosporin +Pain ointment, Gauze etc..... I want to help my pain and scars anyway I can. Is it true that some people get minimal gas?? Or does everyone suffer this bad?- I burp too much**is that normal**
that's good! I think that burping probably will help prevent a PB. I am going to aim for a burp after every meal once I am banded All that excess air needes to go somewhere!- I burp too much**is that normal**
I already burp alot:D I know, it's not very lady like- but it feels so good. I was wondering if burping was going to be impossible being banded, I guess not. I will be banded this Friday, I am hoping all goes as planned.- September Band Crew!
I have to start my liquid diet 7-10 days before surgery....I think that I am going with 7 days of torture instead of 10. I had to start doing Atkins on Monday July, 31st. I was told that I need to lose as much weight as possible before surgery. I've already lost 7 pounds in 5 days...I am sure it is all WATER...either way I am happy that the scale is going down!! My goal is to lose at least 30 pounds by Sept. 20th :becky: I'll keep you all posted!- Pre-band weight loss
I just started my dieting because of the amount of weight I have to lose. I was told to do Atkins which made me happy! If you follow Atkins correctly you will definetly lose weight. Then I have to do the liquid diet w/green salads for 6 days before my surgery. That is going to be a challange! I just know that in order for this to happen I need to lose the weight, and that seems to keep me on track. Good Luck!- September Band Crew!
Yep, I and scheduled to be banded on the 29th of Septemeber! Best of luck to you! (and me) - Bandster Hell!!
