Weighed 339 May 1st of 2009, had surgery July 31st 2009. Got on the scale today....218lbs. :thumbup: I am sooo happy!!!!! Only a few more pounds till 199. Who knows what my next goal will be after that. I plan to run my first 5k in a few weeks, a 10k or 2 next year, and then a half or full marathon soon after that!!!!

I haven't really posted in here, but my 1 year bandiversary is coming up and I am sooo excited. I am down from May 1st of last year at 339 and had surgery by Dr. George Fielding on July 31st of 2009. Currently I am at 218lbs and hope to be about 209 when I see George on July 29th for my annual visit. This most recent band fill I had by his wife has been the most challenging for me. It's soo tight, but the pounds I've lost help me work through it. I have found alot of great info on this site even though I dont post much. Meeting with Dr, George Fie;lding on July 8th, and will be sceduling surgery from there. Everything is done except for my psych appointment, which I am just waiting for Dr. Huberman to call me back to schedule it. Cannot wait...I have been as high as 376 and as low as 276 in the last 12 years, been overweight my entire life...this is a blessing and I intend to stick with it the rest of my life. Look forward to talking on here and hearing success stories along with sharing my own. I look forward to Dr. Fielding doing my surgery as I know at least 5 people that have had it done through him.
