My weight has been up and down all my adult life.  It was always a never ending battle.  Everytime I lost weight I would end up gaining and weighing more then I was when I lost the weight.  Started looking into weight loss surgery when I was 22.  Was looking into the gastric bypass but that fell through.  Thankful it did because the lapband has been a blessing and is alot safer.  It has took 5 years to finally get the surgery.  When the gastric bypass fell through I thought all was lost.  But started looking into the lapband in 2008.  Went to a seminar in Sept 2008 and had my surgery Dec 16 2008.   It feels so wonderful to be finally losing the weight and keeping it off.  Im 6 months post op and have lost 60 pounds.  I feel better then I have in a long time.  Cant wait to reach my goal weight at 130- 135.   Going to be posting before and after pics a little later.
