  1. I was banded on 2-9-10 and was back in the hospital on 2-12-10. During my surgery my doctor also fixed my hernia and took a biopsy of my esophagus. Well anyway, I am still in the hospital today and can not drink or eat anything without getting very, very sick. My doctor believes that I have swelling in my band and esophagus and may do surgery again on Tuesday. My choices are to either have the band re-positioned or removed. This is so crazy and I am so regretting that I did this. Also, very hungry.
  2. I was banded on Tuesday, the 9th and since then really have not ate to much of anything besides popsicles. Last night I ate some soup and pudding for the first time and afterwards got terrible sick, sever pains, throwing up (mostly mucus) and hurt so bad. I thought that I had a blockage and that everything had gone away. When I woke up today had some water and that went down fine, then went to have some soup, took one bite and the pain and vomitting was back. What is going on with me and what do I need to do? I know I need to start eating here pretty soon since it has been over three days since surgery. Please help!!!
  3. My surgery is Tuesday as well, and I am soooo scared, and yet excited!! Good luck everyone!!!
