  2. Hi , I have BCBS insurance. And they will not pay. She can use her Flexible Spending Account- if one is available. That's what I did, then I had an affordable surgery. The med insurance do not seem to care if you are overweight -because you will become their patient for life and buy meds. See if she can get a loan - your life is surely worth it.
  3. So how's everything. I am wonderiing the transition you went through. Didi you tell people. I got banded a few days ago. I am still fighting the gas pains in my left arm.
  4. Hi, My name is DJ. I was banded this past Monday, June 8 at the Emmanuel Med Center in Mexico. Dr. Almanza Reyes was the doctor. I am very pleased with the surgery and after care. He did a great job! The first three days my mid- section was sore from surgery and gas. I arrived home home Wed, and everyday I am stronger. The gas in my left arm is getting better. I lost 10 lbs since surgery. The best thing is that I am no longer hungry!!! My only regret is that I did not do this 10 years ago. I was tired of suffering the effects of being over weight-obese. I have 100 lbs to go.
