  1. So, my surgery is scheduled for today @ 2pm. I have been anticipating this moment and its finally here but I am so nervous I can't quite grasp the effect of it. I have so many butterflies in my stomach. I can't eat anything and the suspension is killing me. I wish I could at least drink a few glasses of water. I have all of my family coming out to the hospital for support and to keep my mom and boyfriend company during the operation. I'm not quite sure where I will be going after the surgery though. My boyfriend wants me with him, my mom wants me with her, and I just wanna go somewhere peaceful with a comfortable bed...what should I do?

  3. One thing that my doctor stresses to me is that muscle weighs more than fat. You may not see the scale move for a very long time, but you will see a change in how you clothes fit and what size you wear. I haven't been banded yet (september is the estimated month) but i am on a 4 month weight loss program from my insurance company in order to get a approved. I haven't seen the scale move either, but im down one dress size. Keep up the good work, you will be so proud of yourself at the end.
